Getting There & Getting Around

The Bahías de Huatulco International Airport receives airlines from the United States and Canada as well as domestic flights.

Taxi: Cabs are plentiful and can also act as a great tour guide. Fares are inexpensive and should be negotiated with the driver before departing to avoid overpaying.

Renting a Vehicle: Driving in Mexico is crazy and hectic so unless you’re planning a day trip somewhere renting is unnecessary. If you do choose to get your own vehicle be cautious as stop signs are generally ignored and roads are under maintained.
