Getting There & Getting Around

The only airport is the Ian Fleming International Airport; however, this airport mainly handles domestic flights. Most flights to Ocho Rios fly in through the Donald Sangster Airport in Montego Bay. From here shuttle buses run to Ocho Rios with the trip taking approximately an hour and a half.

Taxi: Taxi rates are governed and should therefore have little variation between fares. Cabs are available from the airport, hotels and in downtown areas.

Car Rental: If you want the ability to see things further from the hotel renting a vehicle is definitely a good option. Keep in mind roads are usually narrow and in disrepair and there may be traffic jams in and around major cities. REMEMBER: In Jamaica you drive on the LEFT.
