It’s time to embark on a vacation, this side of the world. A vacation you may have been on while you were just a young little lad, but when you were ever so young, you really had no idea where you were going and what you were seeing, you just loved hopping into the car and heading out into the big, wide open world.

If you’ve never experienced the world famous Thousand Islands, than you’re certainly missing out. The 1000 Islands Region extends from Kingston to Cornwall in good old Canada and from Oswego to Massena in The USA, and is filled with community upon rustic community that showcases just how beautiful our lands our.

The beauty of 1000 Islands is the fact that it’s easy to get to, and the natural beauty of each island is immense.

Walk across the 1000 Islands Bridge, stop in the middle and stand there capturing a postcard worthy photo at the highest point of the bridge. Enjoy a day out on the boat, and sail through the islands, go fishing, swimming, limestone diving, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, waterskiing, or wakeboarding. The water sports are endless as you explore the vast lands of each of the 1000 of islands. If you’re keener on pitching a tent, or booking a room, and lounging out by the waters edge for your vacation, than park yourself on one of the many beaches along the sunny shore. Take to island hopping, or just chill out, and enjoy your very own journey of 1,000 islands.
