The Full Moon Party was created because way back when a group of tourists loved the way the moon shone so brightly in Koh Phangan and decided to create a small party to celebrate the moons brilliance.
The spot is now a legendary party as some 10,000 to 30,000 tourists flock here every full moon to party all night long. The party starts at dusk and goes on till the morning sun.
