If you’re looking to embark on a journey that many people from around the globe come to partake in, well than you best get here early as the park fills up and the performances are surely a memorable thing.

The Metropolitan’s Art Museum’s annual concert series has been going on for years now and truly showcases how impeccable the talent is in NYC. The free, five borough recital series begins on July 25th and closes its wide open doors on August 9th. The summer series is all about showcasing opera stars, and performers like no other. As the series hits NYC, locals and tourists can’t wait to hang out and take in the beauty of the summer.

What I love about the summer recital series put on by The Met is that they perform through New York City, so it’s not just Manhattan’s glorious parks that you’ll find these performances in. from Staten Island to Queens, a series is coming to a borough near you, and is certainly one for the memory books. This year, the tour features rising opera stars tenor Dimitri Pittas, bass-baritone John Del Carlo and soprano Danielle de Niese and showcases just how brilliant the opera really is. And so, if you’re in the beautiful New York City at any time during the summer, check out what summer recital series in the park is on while you’re here, it’s certainly something you’re not going to want to miss. Oh, and did I forget to mention its free!
