The Beach Boys, from day one knew Bermuda was one of the best spots to vacation to, stating it over and over in their infamous ‘Kokomo’ song. And with its pillow-pink sandy beaches and turquoise waters wherever you look we certainly understand why they fell in love with this spot. Here is a glimpse of our three favorite beaches that surround this picturesque island.

Horseshoe Bay is one of the most famous beaches on the island. One of the lovely things about this beach is that it’s not only a snorkeling haven towards the rocks, but that it’s designed just as a horseshoe, and so if you have a wish or two you want filled, spend your days at Horseshoe Bay to get in a wish or two.

Next comes Shelly Beach. The name came from the famous Henry Shelly, a crew member on the wrecked ship Sea Venture, a ship that landed on Bermuda way back in 1609. As you stand in the middle of this beach, you’ll most notably see the pink sand beneath your toes, the shady trees behind you and the tranquility all around you. This uncrowded beach will become one of your favourites too.

Finally, here comes the most beautiful beach on Bermuda, Elbow Beach. The beach is where you can soak in the tropical sun for just shy of a mile of pale pink sand. With resorts sitting along its shore, and deemed as one of the safest swimming beaches along Bermuda’s picturesque shores, you’ll find a thousand reasons to stay here for a week, or two.

The beauty of the beach is awaiting you. All you have to do is listen to The Beach Boys as they swing to the island tune along all of these pristine sandy shores.
