St. Thomas is popular stop on many cruise lines and choosing what to do with the couple hours you have to spend time on land can be difficult. Since you don’t want to spend all your free time deciding what to do we’ll give you a hand! This new attraction in St. Thomas opened in January of 2012 and features some refreshing elements, not to mention it’s rated as St. Thomas’ #1 Attraction of Trip Advisor.

Walking around in the heat of St. Thomas and be tiring so take a break and stop off at Magic Ice. Magic Ice is probably one of the coolest attractions in the area – pun intended – and features multitudes of ice sculptures including a shipwrecked ice bar!

Visitors will be dressed up in parkas before entering this chilly domain where they can view ice sculptures and ride ice slides. Sculptures are created by 16 artists that specialize in everything from painting to sculpting in ice, sand and stone. These artists have participated in ice competitions all over the world and have taken home several awards!

One of the best parts of this tour is it includes a shot at the bar in a souvenir shot glass that is yours to keep! There’s no time limit on this tour it’s yours to discover as long as you can ward off the shivers! Another great feature of this attraction is its always changing! Ice sculptures are only good for about six months before they are discarded and new ones take their place.
