Many places throughout the world are considered romantic, but if you’re ever in the Ukraine, you’ll want to seek out this spot to take in the beauty of love. As you embark on your world-wide tour with the one you love, you’ll want to venture off to Kevan, in the western Ukraine to stroll hand in hand with your loved one through the famous Tunnel of Love.
Not much is known about this spot, all that many know of it, is that locals come here with the one they love to make a wish, and if they are both sincere in their wish and love, it will come true. What I think is most magical about this spot is that it is in fact a tunnel that serves as a private railway for a fiberboard factory near the town of Klevan. Anytime of year that you embrace the beauty of this spot, you’ll soon realize that the most wonderful time of year to visit The Tunnel of Love with your loved one is when the leaves are in bloom and the trees create a picturesque arc over the railway tracks.
It’s as though the world burst into new life, and new love when the trees begin to enclose an arc around the tracks. And let me tell you, the second you and your loved walk through this magical spot, you’ll love will grow, just as the fauna continually grows as you stroll through this uniquely crafted, naturally beautiful tunnel.
